Gillies fencing installed acres of creosoted post and rail for us. The fencing was well installed but we have had terrible problems with the creosote that was used on the rails and posts. It continually oozes out and has covered my miniature donkeys causing blisters and has gone all over their coats, making it fall out and causing Terrible itching. I struggled to move them as this company had fenced all my land! They asked for pictures of the damage on my donkeys and the fences to show the extent of the damage. The pictures clearly showed the damage.They claim this has never happened before! However, after receiving the pictures and seeing for themselves they refuse to answer my calls, emails and texts. 2 weeks has past and I still can’t make contact with them. I have paid a further £6,000 -£8,000 to fence a paddock in order to hold the donkeys safely and to aid their recovery. I felt, I had a responsibility to put this out there to warn anyone thinking of using this company for fencing to keep their animals safe. It has caused huge stress to my lovely donkeys and myself. I wanted to deal with this quietly with Paul Gillies but it is impossible without being able to communicate with him. It will have to be put in the hands of the courts. Service: Fence installation
